What are the signs and symptoms of heart disease?
If you experience any of the following symptoms, get in touch with your physician as soon as possible or call 911:
• Sudden onset chest pain and/or chest discomfort, pressing or burning, not limited to one exact point on the chest, often accompanied by a feeling of weakness or cold sweat
• Dizziness, light-headedness, and/or fainting
• Shortness of breath (worse upon exertion)
• Radiating chest pain into the jaw, stomach, arms, back; sudden onset or on exercise, during stress
• Racing of the heart and/or irregular heart beats
• Swelling of the feet, legs, stomach
